Lively Silver 2.0

Lively Silver is a suite of cognitive training games tailored specifically for users experiencing mild dementia. Developed by Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based app developer, the project involved collaboration with Geriatrician Dr. Dennis Seow and a team of allied health professionals from the Singapore General Hospital.

This app aims to offer culturally and contextually relevant experiences for Singaporean patients, featuring imagery and gameplay that resonate with their daily lives. Notably, it provides instructions in both English and Chinese, enhancing accessibility for a wider audience.

The games target various neurocognitive domains, including:

• Attention
• Short-term and working memory (both visual and verbal)
• Processing speed
• Visuoconstruction
• Executive function

Lively Silver is currently undergoing a pilot study at the Singapore General Hospital, assessing its effectiveness in improving the cognitive condition of older individuals with early or mild dementia. Participants in this study are encouraged to engage with the app for a minimum of 30 minutes daily, over a duration of three months.
